Saturday, 12th
Today was a special day. My parents took me to visit my grandparents in the countryside. It was a warm morning, and the sky was clear and blue.
When we arrived, Grandpa was sitting in his old study, typing his ancient typewriter. I watched his fingers dance each , and the sound was like soft rain. He smiled and let me try. I pressed one , then another, and felt the magic of words coming alive. "You ," Grandpa said, "every letter tells a story." I nodded, though my typing was slow and full of mistakes.
After lunch, Grandma asked if I wanted to some fresh eggs from the nearby farm. I said yes, and my little cousin came along. the way, we passed a small pond. wanted to use the toilet, so we stopped at a kind farmer's house. The farmer's wife gave us warm tea and cookies. "" she said with a big smile. Her words made me feel so welcome.
In the afternoon, we sat under a big tree. Grandma told us stories about her childhood. She said, " days, children have so many toys, but we only had each other. Still, I was ." I looked at her wrinkled hands and understood something deep. Happiness is not about things you can . It is about people you love and moments you share.
As the sun began to set, we had to go back home. I felt a little sad but also full of warmth. I to remember this day, I thought. I to keep it safe in my heart.
Today taught me that simple days with family are the best days. I will always this Saturday as a gift.
